When the aim becomes more materialistic than spiritual...
« on: June 28, 2005, 06:31:42 PM »
This is regarding a christian crusade that was held in Nigeria. Why does a country that could easily boast of being the most religious, be ranked among the most corrupt?  Well, read this link on BBC:

and see how many times you can find spiritual uplifting or peacefulness as the aim (like the great Pastor/Reverend Billy Graham does).  I don\'t like to say this but when someone says that \"My God is not a poor God and anybody who worships Him truly cannot be poor\", I just wonder  .  Anyway, I won\'t want to say more now...just read and hopefully it will be meaningful to you.
"Incline Thy ear, O Lord, and hear me: for I am needy and poor" -- Psalm lxxxv. 1
