Where in Owerri where you born? Where are you from? i.e State, village etc?

Finally, why do you want us to post any info on the website? Dont you have an email address?
Whenever I see an old lady slip and fall on a wet sidewalk, my first instinct is to laugh. But then I think, what if I was an ant, and she fell on me. Then it wouldn\'t seem quite so funny.

Well regardless of the situation, if you have any helpful info, please present it to Chidi.
In addition, CHidi, you may want to leave your email address just in case someone wants to contact you directly. Best wishing and i\'m sure someone will have some info for you.

Also, do give us a little bit more info about yourself like Chizor said; where is your village, town, any peers you remember (from school or otherwise) and maybe in-laws too?
Goodluck

Hello everybody! Thanks for your replies!

***my E-Mail*** ImmanuelBaer@web.de ***my E-Mail***

In the first instance this is no joke!!! and I?m sorry for the word \"divided\" but my English is only OK!-( but is this important?
I don?t think so! ugbobaby don?t think this is funny for me!!!!

I have reviewed all the old letters from my father last night and found out that though on my passport is written \"Owerri\" as Town of my Birth there are different addresses.
I started searching the web in Owerri because I?m born here and I think
this is correct. I know that this forum is not made for such actions but I have to take every chance! Enough time elapsed I hope noone feels angry
for this.......

(I?m not sure that everything is 100% correct, cause some of the
letters are indefinite)

1. Namdi Ozigbu
Ozigbus Compound
Abba
Close of Nkwerre
ISUZU

2.Port Harcort
school road 25 (or maybe 21 or 22........)
Obigbu

with really kind regards
Immanuel

I should be going home soon. Would do my best to investigate. Any further info would be useful, no matter how irrelevant you may think it is.

Thanks a lot!!
Of course I will search for any other information but the problem is that my only relative here in Germany is my german mum
and she is meanwhile mentally handicapped in the age of 64. She is apart from some letters my only information source...  :(  :(

This is hella funny...  it\'s sad if it\'s true.  but i think we\'ve got a clue. Sieve the info, Nkwere is the only thing that makes sense on those mailing address. Is there anyone from Nkwere on this site?

Chidi i think u re not trying hard at all. Quick suggestion though, go to Zabasearch.com search for your dad\'s last name, call or mail everyone available with that same last name if u can, i know some of my friends who found their friends and family from there. Good Luck.

Oh ye people of little faith! I am grieved by what i see. One person making correction in English and another telling him how he is not trying hard. Please people, do not pretend you know what is going on until you wear the shoe. Ah! am sure then you can feel the pinch.  What happened to \"a benefit of the doubt\"? How about waiting until you have a tangible info of help before writing instead of correction of English language and determination of how hard the person in question is trying. Like the young man asked, Is it important? Americans speak real terrible English and we all smile. What then? Someone who leaves in Germany? Concerning him our understanding in love should greatly abound for he is from a non English speaking region. Now before you all quit what is necessary to attack this post, think, think!  Does it matter what my response is? Do i have to comment on this? Think about the benefits before posting. Any thing short of peace, throw it out the window or better , keep to your self.   Watch how your fellow is offering suggestions and even volunteering to investigate.Like that your thoughts should toil. I sigh real hard now.
                                                       Shaking my head in disbelief
                                                       As i leave the computer
                                                       Knowing what to expect.
It\'s beautiful to love and be loved.

I agree with Amaka\'s suggestion, you should plz try harder ok. The least you can do here is post your dad\'s address in nija on this forum and anyone\'s who\'s visiting Imo State may be able to locate him.

Still, look for databases or records of where you can start searching from your dad\'s last name, at least, am sure they have some websites for this purpose, if find any i\'ll forward it 2 u via ur email addy ok

GOODLUCK 2 U MAN

To protect our users and to avoid handling a possibly sensitive issue rather callously, we make the following propositions:

(1) If you have any information that can be helpful, forward them to the ADMINS at webmaster@gsso.net.  We will then relay the information to the user Chidi0912 with your email address hidden.  We will serve as the \"mediator\" thereby protecting your identity or email address just as a caution.

(2) Chidi0912, the Admins will like to see your exact place of birth (Hospital name in Owerri). You can either forward this to us directly by email (scanned copy) or post the name of the hospital here on your Birth Certificate.

(3) Chidi0912, note that we do not guarantee that we can get the information you need. However, we will make use of our available resources from the kindness of our users to help you. Also, be certain of the name you claim to look for - \"Nandi\" is an Indian name, but we will give you the benefit of the doubt.

Best wishes in your good endeavors.

Hello, No I?m not dissapearing! Not in any Case but it?s really hard to find out facts I could use. By the way is one of the hardest problems to identify the letters from my grandparents. So it may take time (days) to work out some usefull information. Some of the information I can just get by the Context - for example the place or street of the hospital I was born...

But what I have also to admit is that I?m really overwhelmed by number of views and kindly help from all of ya! Thanks a lot I?m appreciative :D
